The Importance of a Monocular or Trinocular Microscope in the Brewery

The microscope is necessary to observe the yeast as well as any contaminants in the beer (bacteria).

It is also indispensable for counting and determining the viability of yeast.

A laboratory microscope can have different characteristics and performance.

The minimum requirements in the brewery are 400 to 1000 X magnification.

Suggested versions are binocular or trinocular for those who wish to connect a camera or tablet to the microscope.
