- Concentrated powder solution of enzymes and bacteria for maintaining and re-establishing bacterial flora in plants.
- Due to the presence of enzymes, it ensures faster bacterial recovery and acceleration of the breakdown of all organic matter (proteins, sugars, starches, cellulose, fats) in sewage treatment plants.
DEMSTEP 50 L
- Concentrated liquid solution of enzymes for supporting undersized biological sewage treatment plants.
- Due in part to the presence of enzymes, it guarantees faster hydrolysis of all organic matter (proteins, sugars, starches, cellulose, fats) in sewage treatment plants in order to speed up the subsequent bacterial metabolisation phase (see patent no. 00870099.0 of 08/05/00).
DEMSTEP 60 L
- Concentrated liquid solution of enzymes and bacteria for the treatment in sewage treatment plants of wastewater loaded with fatty matter consisting mainly of: free fatty acids, cholesterols, mono-di-triglycerides, phospholipids.
Lifting stations
Piramide has been working with enzyme complexes for grease treatment in liftings for more than twenty-five years.
Especially in tourist resorts with a high concentration of restaurants and hotels, a significant characteristic of sewage effluent is the high concentration of fats and oils.
Lifting stations are among the installations that suffer the most from this problem, as the grease floats and forms so-called surface ‘hats’.
Generally, the consequences are:
- The clogging of pumps with consequent overheating and breakage, as well as interruption of lifting
- The failure of the floats
- The high cost for maintenance
- The high cost of removal by purging
- The production of malodours that spread easily.
The effect of waste water treatment
Hydrolysis of the grease to decrease the amount of floating grease, keeping the remaining grease soft so that the floats and pumps work, decreasing malodours and improving environmental impact.

Dosing systems
Due to our many years of experience working alongside customers, we are able to install dosing systems:
- 220 VAC or in the absence of electricity, 12 VDC systems (with at least 1 month autonomy and rechargeable batteries)
- In industrial lifting and sewage systems both indoors and outdoors (systems in IP68 boxes)
- In very small spaces such as manhole covers.
